Beeswax Shutter Hinge (pair)

An ornate hinge inspired by classic French design, used to secure window shutters. Designed with an angled offset so that the shutter lies flat against the wall when opened. Sold in pairs. Supplied with matching SS wood screws. Beeswax is our most authentic finish for steel. After forging, these products are dipped into hot beeswax which allows them to retain their original colours ranging from blue to deep ochre. All our Beeswax ironmongery offers a subtle matt richness and is a more natural, and far softer, alternative to a black powder coated finish. These products offer excellent internal protection when properly maintained.
